What is Liberty Elementary PTA?

Liberty Elementary PTA is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the education and well-being of all Liberty students at home, school, and in the community.

What can I do to help enhance my student’s education?
A key way to show support and involvement is by becoming a PTA member. Your membership helps support valuable programs that Liberty Elementary otherwise could not afford. Through your PTA membership, you can participate in your child’s education by volunteering for a committee, attending meetings, voting on important PTA decisions, and providing ideas and feedback. Whatever level of involvement you choose, your time and efforts shows your child that you care about their education.

Why is membership important?
The more members we have, the more support the children in your school and community will receive.

Who can become a member?

Anyone that cares about our students can become a member! That means parent, teachers, relatives, friends, community members, students and more.

How do I join?

What are the benefits of joining?
Liberty Elementary PTA benefits parents as well as students and their school community. PTA events are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind. Joining the PTA also means you get a “VOICE and a VOTE” in helping shape the community at Liberty Elementary. 

Individuals can take advantage of a host of benefits from a PTA membership including:

• Exclusive access to our online family directory, searchable and accessible at this website as well as the Membership Toolkit app on your mobile phone - making it easier to connect with classmates and new friends. (Families can opt in to participate in the directory).

Where does my membership fee go?

Your membership fee funds State and National PTA efforts that advocate for safer laws and better educational programs.

Where do my donations go?

Your donation funds important programs and events for Liberty teachers and students, and family events that build a connected community.

Do I have to volunteer?

As a member, there is absolutely no obligation to volunteer. Of course, if you are interested to explore volunteer opportunities, we encourage you to signup, using our volunteer forms. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities and there is always something that will suit your interests, skills and availability. 

How can I keep updated on PTA information, activities and events?
We use a variety of ways to keep you informed – through this website, our monthly email newsletter and Facebook. We'd also love to see you at an upcoming General Membership Meeting!
